Day 1: Depart USA
Today you board your aircraft for the overnight flight to Athens and your Luxury escape to Greece.
Day 2: Welcome to Greece
Upon arrival in Athens you will be met and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is left open. take the opportunity to walk around the old neighborhoods and discover the coexistence of different eras in the heart of the city; old mansions, large department stores, archaeological sites, museums, hip restaurants and traditional taverns coexist next to each other and it all works.
Day 3: A Day of Antiquity
Today you will visit some of the oldest and the newest attractions in Athens. Start with a tour of contemporary Athens including Constitution square with the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Olympic Stadium; then a tour of the Acropolis Museum which is one of the newest additions to the city and offers a detailed history of the Acropolis in the life of Athens. You then ascend the Acropolis itself to gaze in wonder at the Parthenon and the other temples surrounding it. After your tour you have time for a leisurely lunch before heading out along the Athenian Riviera passing through chic towns like Glyfada and Vouliagmeni. You will reach Cape Sounion with its iconic Temple of Poseidon perched on a clifftop and ideally positioned to catch the sunset. Return to Athens.

Day 4: A Cruise to the Saronic Islands
In the morning you will be picked up and delivered to the dock in Piraeus where you board a boat for your day cruise. You have special seating in the VIP lounge where you enjoy a welcome drink then enjoy the view from the sundeck as you leave port and head to Poros, the first island you will visit. You have an hour to explore the shops and tavernas on the waterfront or explore the citrus forest. Return to the shup as you cruise to Hydra. Enjoy a buffet lunch on the way. Return to the sun deck to enjoy the views coming into the harbor at Hydra where you have two hours to explore. You then depart for Aegina where you can take an optional excursion to visit the Temple of Aphaia which is tied in with the Temple of Poseidon which you visited previously. As you head back to Piraeus enjoy a Greek folklore show with music and dancing. Upon arrival you are transferred back to your hotel.

Day 5: Mycenae and Epidaurus
After breakfast you will leave Athens and drive on to the Peloponnese via Corinth. Your first stop today will be the town that Homer described as ‘”Rich in Gold’. Mycenae fell from power in the 2nd Century BC. You will explore the remains including the “Lion’s Gate”, “Cyclopean Walls” and the “Treasure of Atreus”. Your next visit is the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its exceptional acoustics, its absolute symmetry and the way it fits in the natural landscape. It was built in the 4th Century B.C. and added to in the 2nd Century B.C. Today, in the summer, its 14,000 seats are filled by lovers of ancient dramas and comedies. After your visit you spend the night in the charming coastal town of Nafplio where you have dinner.

Day 6: Nafplio to Mykonos
Today you will be transferred back to Athens airport for a flight to Mykonos. Upon arrival you are met and taken to your hotel which is located on Ayios Yiannis beach, where the movie ‘Shirley Valentine’ was filmed. Relax on the beach or by the pool.

Day 7: Exploring Mykonos
The stunning island of Mykonos has lots of highlights such as monasteries, beaches, windmills, squares and local villages. Your guide will not only show it all but put the whole island in context that will add immeasurably to the rest of your stay. Lunch is included and you get to see Manto Square, Little Venice, windmills (of course) and a variety of churches. Your guide wills also suggest places to visit in the evening both for dinner and nightlife.

Day 8: Your Personal Mykonos
You have the whole day to relax either at your beach or one of the many others. You might also just want to lie by the pol and cool off with a dip every so often. The choice is yours. Many people get caught up in the European mode of staying up until 3Am to 4AM and then combining sleeping and sunbathing during the day. We don’t recommend it but the option is there.

Day 9: Day at Leisure and Evening Cruise
You have another day to relax and enjoy the beach. During the booking process we can always include a cooking class midday to let you create a Mykonian meal that will impress your friends back home. In the late afternoon you will be taken to the port where you board a yacht that will take you to the uninhabited island of Rhenia where you can swim in the crystal clear waters. You then visit the sacred island of Delos with its impressive ruins. This was supposedly the birthplace of Apollo and mortals are forbidden to give birth on the island so be warned. Since this is your last night on Mykonos you might want to try a little clubbing.

Day 10: Mykonos to Santorini
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then you will be transferred to the port where you board a high speed ferry to the iconic island of Santorini. Upon arrival you are met and driven to your hotel where you will be in plenty of time to watch the sun set over the Caldera.

Day 11: Exploring Santorini on Foot or Mountain Bike
Santorini is not known for its beaches but it does have amazing views so we give you two options to enjoy them. If you are into biking you can join a guide as to explore the interior of the island visiting quaint villages and following ancient tracks. If you are more in to walking your guide will take you on the scenic trail that runs from the main town of Fira to the charming village of Oia. The path follows the rim of the Caldera so spectacular views are assured. Either way you will be back in time to enjoy a dip in your private plunge pool. Add a chilled bottle of wine and have the perfect venue for watching the san set.

Day 12: The Vineyards of Santorini
Santorini is known for the diversity and quality of its wines and you will join a knowledgeable guide to visit several vineyards to taste and compare the various wines. This will be enhanced by a cooking class using indigenous ingredients from the island. You can enjoy the result as lunch. In the late afternoon you may want to explore the shops in Fira.

Day 13: Santorini Sunset
As your stay begins to wind down you may want to enjoy the tranquility and views at your hotel either at the main pool or your own pool. In the evening you transfer to the port where you board a catamaran that will visit key sights along the edge of the Caldera. In some areas you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Enjoy a BBQ dinner as the sun sets over the island and toast your stay in Greece as you make your way back to port.

You will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Athens connecting to your flight bound for the USA and arriving back the same afternoon.
