Day 1: Depart USA
Tonight you embark on your elegant Greek adventure as you board a flight bound for Athens.
Day 2: Arrival in Athens
You are met by our representative and transferred to flight to Naxos. Upon landing in Naxos, you will be met and driven to your hotel where you can begin to relax. Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades and offers mountains and gorges for hiking, white-washed villages, good food and wine plus pristine beaches. Start your stay in Greece with dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Discovering Naxos
After breakfast you start your exploration of the island with a visit to the Archeological museum with an outstanding collection of Mycenaean pottery dating back to 2,000 years B.C. You can also visit the Portara one of Naxos’ mist famous landmarks the rectangular door, made of marble, stands 26 feet high and is thought to be the entrance to an unfinished temple it faces directly towards Delos the birthplace of Apollo. In the afternoon take some time to relax on one of the beaches. We will provide a list of recommended places for dinner from rustic to elegant.

Day 4: Traditional Villages of Naxos
Today you will meet your guide for a visit to some of the traditional villages of the island. Apirathos is a colorful mountainous village with beautiful squares and narrow alleys paved with marble. Its inhabitants have Cretan accents and it is said that they are the descendants of Cretan pirates that found shelter in Naxos during Venetian times. Filoti, built on the top of a rock, is a picturesque village with cubic shaped houses and narrow stone-paved alleys. You return to your hotel for some more beach time followed by dinner at the hotel whose restaurant is well respected.

Day 5: The Ferry from Naxos to Paros
In the morning your driver will meet you and take you to the port where Club class seats are reserved for the pleasant ride to Paros. You will dock in Parikia Harbour which is a major hub for Aegean island ferries. Your guide will meet you and take you on a tour of the island highlights including Lefkes one of the largest inland villages. You will also visit the quarry which was used to create the Venus de Milo, The Hermes of Praxiteles and Pediments of the Parthenon. Arrive at your hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 6: Day at leisure
Today is a day to indulge in watersports whether that is wind surfing, sailing or just enjoying the beach. The second town of Naoussa is a good bet for dinner in the evening.

Day 7: Day Trip to Antiparos
Today you take a fifteen minute ride in a motorboat to the adjoining island of Antiparos. If you are into scuba diving this is a must and snorkelers will also fine the waters worthwhile. Others may decide to visit the Antiparos cave which is located 531 feet above sea level. It was discovered by the French Ambassador to Constantinople in 1673 it is believed to be the oldest cave in Greece.

Day 8: High Speed Ferry to Los
Your driver will be waiting to take you to the dock where you board a high speed ferry for the island of Ios which, in recent years, has challenged Mykonos for the title of “Party Island”. If you want a lot of action it is in town but there are more tranquil places on the island. Before getting to your hotel you will stop at the site that is reputed to be the tomb of Homer.

Day 9: Your Choice of Three Spectacular Beaches
You have your choice of three beautiful beaches to enjoy. Our favorite is Aghia Theodoti since it is more tranquil. As an option we can charter a high speed boat for you for a day trip to nearby Santorini for a quick visit.

Day 10: The Ferry to Folegrandos
Take a high speed ferry to Folegandros with afternoon visit to the Castle of Chora and the Village of Ano Meria. Although it is close to Santorini it is far less developed and did not have paved roads until about fifteen years ago. What is does have is beauty and authenticity. As far as social life it is the anti-Ios with the town offering cozy cafes and tavernas not discos. As compensation Folegrandos is listed among the 7 most beautiful villages in Europe.

Day 11: A Farewell to Greece
As your Grecian holiday comes to an end it is fitting that it is in one of the most beautiful islands. Take a walk among the villages and a swim on one of the pristine beaches and reminisce about all the experiences over the past week.

Day 12: Return to USA
In the morning you will be driven to the port for a high speed ferry to Santorini. Transfer to airport. Flight to Athens to connect with USA flight. Helicopter connection to either Santorini or Athens is available.
