Day 1: Depart USA
Tonight you depart from home and head across the Atlantic to the City of Lights for a Luxury French Vacation.
Day 2: Welcome to Paris
You land in Paris and, after completing arrival formalities, you are met one of our drivers who will take you to your hotel. After checking in, nothing beats jet lag like a leisurely stroll down the Champs Elysees.
Day 3: Highlights of Paris
After breakfast you will be picked up at your hotel for a full day tour of the highlights of Paris. If you have visited previously it will like visiting an old friend and if it is your first time you will realize that it is all you hoped it would be. A special treat will be enjoying lunch with a view from inside the Eiffel Tower. You are then returned to your hotel.

Day 4: Saint Chappelle, Notre Dame and Ile St. Louis
In the morning your guide will be waiting in the lobby to take you on the Metro to Ile de La Cite, one of only two islands on the Seine. This was the original settlement of the Celtic tribe known as the Parisii. Later the Kings of France established the island as the centre of law and religion by building the Conciergerie, Saint Chappelle and the most well-known, Notre Dame. The Conciergerie was the last place where Marie Antoinette stayed before her execution. Your guide will show you all three and you can stay and explore nearby Ile St. Louis on your own.

Day 5: Day at Leisure and an Elegant Evening
Since you have been an exposure to the highlights of Paris, today might be a good day to explore areas of interest on your own. In the evening you will be picked up at the hotel and delivered to the banks of the Seine for an elegant dinner cruise complete with Champagne and music. See the great sights like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Nore Dame illuminated.

Day 6: Monet at the Marmottan
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Tuileries Gardens for a visit to the Orangerie. Here you will find the works of great impressionists especially the famous Waterlilies Dioramas by Monet. You then travel to the 16th Arrondissement to Musee Marmottan which houses over 300 works by Monet and other impressionists. Many of the paintings were donated by the artist’s son. Finish you guided day with a tour of the Musee Orsay containing an unequalled collection of the best impressionists including Monet.

Day 7: At Home with Monet
In the morning your guide will be waiting to take you into the French countryside to the small town of Giverny. Here you will find the home of Monet and the inspiration for much of his work including the pond (which he built) the red Japanese bridge (which he bought) and the waterlilies that you saw previously. Take time to remember the paintings and view the scenes as Monet would have. Visit the house and his studio before returning to Paris.

Day 8: Versailles, Town and Gardens
After a leisurely breakfast your guide will meet you and take you to the suburbs of Paris and the town of Versailles which is the location of the last address of Louis XVI and his wife, Marie Antoinette. While most people visit only as a day trip to the Palace we believe that the town itself is worth a visit. Start your visit by touring the justly famous ornamental gardens and then a tour of the town highlights with some free time. We will also provide some recommendations for dinner in town.

Day 9: The Palaces of Versailles
Your expert guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to see the palaces of Versailles. You will start with the Royal stables which were designed to house 2,000 horses and close to 3,000 staff. Today they house museums. You will then visit the Grand Trianon which was a more intimate palace which Louis XV used for affairs of state (and to house his mistress). The Petite Trianon was given to Marie Antoinette by Louis XVI and she built a model farm around it where she and her ladies in waiting could play as milkmaids. Finally you tour the main Palace including the Hall of Mirrors where the treaty ending World War one was signed. In the evening enjoy a farewell dinner at Le Verandah by Gordon Ramsey which is located in your hotel and overlooks the Palace grounds.

Day 10: Return to USA
In the morning, a driver will take you to the airport for the return flight to the USA.
