Highlights:
A ferry ride from Buenos Aires across the River Plate brings you to the small neighboring country of Uruguay which offers a combination of scenic landscapes, wine regions and beach resorts. Although Argentina has a large expanse of coastline, the Portenos prefer the Uruguayan resorts because of their proximity.
For many years, Punta Del Este was the place to go but more recently Jose Ignacio is the new place to be seen. This program combines the sophistication of Buenos Aires, a touch of the gaucho lifestyle and a contemporary resort on the coast of Uruguay. It would make a nice honeymoon combination.
