Day 1: USA-Brazil
In the evening you board your aircraft for the overnight flight to Salvador de Bahia.
Day 2: Salvador Arrival
Upon arrival in Salvador, you will be met and taken to your hotel where you can relax by the pool or explore the local area. In the evening have dinner at the hotel .

Day 3: Highlights of Salvador de Bahia
You meet your guide for a private tour of the essential sights of Salvador starting at the bay and the beaches and then ascending to Pelourinho the largest complex of colonial architecture in South America highlighted by Pelourinho Square. In the evening attend a performance of Candomble at the theatre followed by dinner.

Day 4: Driving to Praia do Forte
In the morning your guide will pick you up and drive you to the beach town of Praia do Forte situated on the Coconut Tree Coast. It is known for its long, pristine beach. Your resort offers a laid back elegance and features an Anantara Spa. Tonight you have dinner at one of the restaurants at the resort all with views of the water.

Days 5 & 6: Days at Leisure
Enjoy two full days at the beach participating in the available water-sports or just relaxing on the pristine beach.

Day 7: A Touch of Finland
Today your driver will be waiting to drive you to the charming town of Penedo that was originally settled by immigrants from Finland which must have represented quite a shock from a temperature and cultural basis. With hills and pine forests around perhaps the change was not that dramatic. Your charming hotel offers personalized service and location close to town.

Day 8: The Waterfall of God and other sights
You have the full day to explore on your own. You may want to start the day at the Finnish Museum in the centre of town. Later in the day as the temperature rises you can visit the “Waterfall of God” where you can enjoy a natural water slide and the chance to soak in your own private rock pool.

Day 9: Arrival in Recife
Your coastal road trip is coming to an end with a luxury highlight. After a coastal drive with a stop for lunch you arrive in Recife and your elegant resort on Nannai Beach where you check into your beach front bungalow.

Days 10-11: Days of Unwinding and Exploring
Although there are many optional excursions from the resort we suspect that you may want to spend the time enjoying your own private bungalow and the beach. You can sit on your deck and view the ocean, walk down a couple of steps and be in your own private pool. If you are more active you can walk or run the beach, play tennis or swim in the ocean. Each evening relax with a quiet dinner and the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach.

Day 12: One morning on the beach
In the afternoon your driver will be waiting to take you to the airport in Recife where you catch a connecting flight to either Rio or Sao Paulo for the return overnight flight to the USA.
