Day 1: USA-Brazil
Board a morning flight for Rio and arrive in the evening. You are met by one of our drivers who will take you to your contemporary hotel on the beachfront of Ipanema. On the top floor of the hotel is a pool bar which would make a great place to enjoy a Caipirinha as a nightcap.
Day 2: Exploring Ipanema
To allow you to enjoy breakfast and catch up after the flight we are suggesting a free morning. In the afternoon your private guide will meet you and take you on a walking tour of the shops and art galleries of Ipanema. Your guide will also point out some good places to have dinner although your hotel is an excellent option popular with locals as well as guests.

Day 3: Iconic Highlights of Rio…Sugarloaf
Sugar Loaf Mountain which has become an iconic symbol of the city, and its name is said to be based on its resemblance to the way sugar was refined and stored. Your adventure begins when you take a cable car to the top of Urca Hill which rises 600 feet above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its islands. From Urca hill you take a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which stands 1,200 feet above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, Corcovado and Downtown Rio. After you descend we take you for a traditional Brazilian Lunch.

Day 4: Iconic highlights of Rio…Corcovado
After breakfast your host will be waiting in the lobby to take you to visit one of the world's most recognizable attractions. Located 7,000 feet atop Corcovado Hill, the Statue of Christ the Redeemer was elected as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. You will take a scenic drive around the perimeter of the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon arriving at the base of the hill where you board a train which will take you through one of the few rain forests in the middle of a major city. Upon reaching the top you will look up at the statue in awe and then the view below you with wonderment. After a suitable time to take it all in your guide will take you back down to a beautiful cobblestone hilly street in Santa Teresa where you have lunch. After lunch you are transferred to the airport for a flight to Recife the largest city in the state of Pernambuco. Upon arrival you are met by your guide and taken to your resort near the town of Porto De Galinhas. Upon arrival you are taken to your two story bungalow which provides great place to watch the sun disappear.
Days 5-7: The Beaches at Nannai
Although there are many optional excursions from the resort we suspect that you may want to send a day enjoying your own private bungalow and the beach close by. You can sit on your deck and view the ocean, walk down a couple of steps and be in your own private pool. Another option is to visit the tidal pool that runs over a mile with a sandbar where you can admire the outstanding natural beauty as you enjoy breakfast in the seafront restaurant. On another day head into Porto De Galinhas which is only ten minutes away by beach buggy. As well as being a feast for the eyes it enjoys an excellent location right at the center of a fishing village. Here there are more tide pools with warm crystal-clear waters, home to a large variety of colorful fish. You can also try out jangada which are sailing rafts that take you into perfectly preserved mangroves. There are a lot of good restaurants so enjoy lunch and the ambiance before returning to Nannai.

Day 8: Return to USA
You have the morning to relax by the pool, walk the beach or get a massage at the spa. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport in Recife where you board a flight to connect back to the USA.
