You then proceed to the Margaret River region for a unique combination of walks along cliff top paths combined with gourmet hampers, personal chefs and an indulgent “base camp” with private plunge pools and an onsite spa.
Finish your experience at a luxury tented camp (Pippa Middleton and husband honeymooned there) with one of the world’s most beautiful reefs 30 feet from the beach. An added bonus is the chance to snorkel with Whale sharks and Humpback whales at certain times of the year.

Days 1-2: USA – Australia
Depart the USA headed for Australia and losing a day along the way as you cross the International Date Line
Day 3: Welcome to Perth
You arrive in the city of Perth, the largest population centre in Western Australia and situated where the Swan River meets the Ocean. You are met by our driver and delivered to your hotel for a good night’s rest
Day 4: Highlights of Perth
Meet you guide for a tour of some of the major sights of Perth including the business district and shopping areas, King’s Park with its views of Swan River and the Perth Skyline and the quaint town of Fremantle. In the evening enjoy some of Perth’s lively nightlife

Day 5: The Vineyards of Swan Valley
Australia is known for wine and some of the oldest vineyards in the country are located in the Swan Valley a short drive outside Perth. Your guide will take you on a tour of some of the many vineyards (or breweries if you choose) to sample. Stop for lunch along the way.

Day 6: A Day in Avon Valley
Today you get to explore on your own. You pick up a rental car close to your hotel and set off for a day of touring in the Avon Valley. We will provide a list of places to visit including Northam with its historic buildings, Toodyay with its jail from colonial times and York with is charming homes. It will be like starring in “American Graffiti” except in Australia. Return to Perth but retain the car which you will need for the next few days

Day 7: Transfer to the Margaret River Region
After breakfast you leave Perth and head to the Margaret River Region, one of Australia’s newest and most up and coming wine areas. You are going to spend the next few days enjoying a leisurely walk along the ocean traveling from cap to cape with a few companions while enjoying gourmet meals and spa amenities. Check into your villa and enjoy a dip in your private plunge pool. An in-house chef is available to cook for you or you can drive a few miles up the coast to a sister property with restaurant and bar

Day 8: Following the Cape to Cape Track
A breakfast hamper will be brought to your villa as you start your walking adventure. Your walk today will be about three miles with lunch and a swim along the way,. Return to the retreat and relax with wine and cheese in your villa. Later you will be transferred to the award-winning Rusticos@Hay Shed Hill for a five-course dinner with Margaret River wine pairing.

Day 9: Cape Naturaliste to Yallingup
After another gourmet breakfast hamper in your villa, you will make your way to Cape Naturaliste stopping at Ngilgi Cave for a mesmerizing didgeridoo performance by one of the Region’s Aboriginal Original owners. Today you will walk along the limestone coastline with surf breaks visible from the cliff-tops along the way. After a rest back in your villa, or perhaps a massage at the onsite spa, you meet other guests for sunset drinks on the cliff-top. Afterwards enjoy a quiet evening with a gourmet dinner hamper in your villa along with a bottle of wine.

Day 10: Redgate Beach to Boranup Karri Forest
Today’s walk is arguably the most stunning, taking in the section of trail running from Redgate Beach to Boranup karri forest with gourmet lunch hampers on the track. You will be dwarfed by the karri trees and marvel at the views from the cliff-top above pristine Contos Beach. After returning to the retreat you will have some free time to relax before a private chef and local winemaker meet you in the lounge. The chef will showcase local produce to the group over a three-course gourmet BBQ dinner, while the winemaker introduces you to some amazing local wines

Day 11: A Great Send Off
After one last gourmet breakfast at your villa you will be transferred to Moses Rock for your five mile walk to Willybrup sea cliffs. Witness the Indian Ocean waves crashing into the granite rock formations with the turquoise hues standing out against the orange rock. Having completed your walk you have earned the lunch that follows at award winning Wills Domain winery. Enjoy four courses with premium wine matches overlooking the vines and the Gunyulgup Valley. You leave the retreat and drive back to Perth to your previous hotel for an overnight

Day 12: Perth to Ningaloo Reef
Return your rental car to Perth airport and board a flight to Learmouth. On arrival in Learmouth you meet your pilot for the flight to Ningaloo Reef. As you fly over Sal Salis camp, your pilot will circle the reef allowing views of manta rays, turtles, dolphins and, occasionally humpback whales. Upon landing you are transferred to the camp made up of nine spacious wilderness tents much like an African Safari Camp with 100% cotton linen, choice of pillow, soft bath towels and en suite bathroom. The tents are just feet away from the water’s edge. Take a dip in the clear waters and swim out to the reef before lunch and later, dinner.

Days 13-14: The Ningaloo Reef Experience
Stretching for 160 miles along Australia’s west coast, the World Heritage Ningaloo Reef is the world’s longest fringing coral reef. Unlike the Great Barrier Reef, the coral is within swimming distance of the beach, no more than 30 feet offshore. Enjoy snorkeling among staghorn coral formations, anemones, clown fish, rays and sponge gardens. You can kayak over the reef without impacting the ecosystem and combine kayaking with snorkeling. On a catch and release basis you can also go game fishing. For the truly adventurous you can, during the months of April through July go swimming with whale Sharks the gentle giants that feed on plankton and grow over 35 feet in length. From August to October you can swim with humpback whales.

Day 15: Return to USA
After a last dip in the ocean and breakfast with a view you are driven to Exmouth where you board a plane for Perth. From Perth you fly east to Sydney for the return flight back to the USA regaining the “lost’ day.
