We know that there is a lot more to Australia than these, in fact we can offer it, but for a taste of the Continent, these three places work well. Consider this a starting point for your private visit down under.

Day 1: Depart USA
Today you board your aircraft bound for Sydney and the beginning of your luxury Custom Vacation in Australia.
Day 2: En Route
You will cross the International Date Line, “losing” a day but you will regain it on your return flight.
Day 3: Arrival in Sydney
You arrive in Sydney and clear customs and immigration and realize you are now ‘down under’. One of our drivers will meet you and drive you into Sydney and your hotel. You check in and enjoy the spectacular view of Sydney Harbour from your room.
Day 4: The Harbour, the Bridge and the Opera House
In the morning you walk to the nearby pontoon where you will find your yacht which will be taking you on a morning cruise around the world famous harbour while you enjoy tea or coffee. You will view the skyline (including your hotel) from the water and the famous Harbour Bridge but the main attraction is the Opera House constructed in the 1960’s and an instant symbol of Sydney. After returning to the pontoon you walk to the opera house where a guide will give you a backstage tour including the rehearsal rooms, the dressing rooms and a chance to stand on the famous stage. You will then return to the hotel where the rest of the day is left open for you to relax or visit the nearby shops.

Day 5: The Blue Mountains
Not far from the bustle of Metropolitan Sydney is an area known as the Blue Mountains. Along with your guide you will explore this World Heritage Area. You will stop at Euroka Clearing located deep in the National Park where you can observe a wild variety of birdlife including kangaroos. You will then drive to ascend the Blue Mountains and enjoy a peaceful view from the Jamison Valley, avoiding the crowds. You then view the famous three sisters before having lunch at Hydro Majestic. In the afternoon you see a 540 feet waterfall and finish your day at Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens where you enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney.

Day 6: Sydney to Ayers Rock/Uluru
Today you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Ayers Rock airport which is your point of access to the great stone monolith known as Uluru to the indigenous people. You will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax in and around the pool. At sunset you will experience the changing colors of the monolith in the distance.

Day 7: Ayers Rock and the Olgas
In the morning you will travel towards Uluru as its vast shape rises from the sand dunes in the early dawn light. Your guide will take you to a special location to watch the sun rise over this amazing monolith. You will learn the creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python) and hear about the Mala people. After a bush breakfast you will visit Mutitjulu Waterhole and then drive around the base of Uluru before returning to the resort. You can relax in the shade around the pool and have lunch at one of the dining options. In the afternoon you will travel to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to a place where unique flora and fauna thrive, The Olgas. Here your guide will reveal the many attributes of this diverse men’s ceremonial site. Arriving at Walpa Gorge, walk between the mighty conglomerate domes and hear hoe these 36 domes that make up Kata Tjuta have evolved over millions of years. Take time to listen to the wind (Walpa) far above and view the scale of the rock walls that surround you. The spirituality of this amazing location embraces everyone who ventures here.

Day 8: Ayers Rock to Cairns
After breakfast you are transferred to the airport for a flight to Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Upon arrival in Cairns you are transferred to your luxury waterfront hotel overlooking Marlin Marina.

Day 9: Relaxing in Cairns
Since you have been doing a great deal of sightseeing we think a day’s rest would be in order especially since your hotel has so much to offer in proximity. You are only a short stroll from the city centre, Esplanade Lagoon (perfect for swimming or paddle boarding) and your hotel’s board walk offers an extensive array of restaurants, cafes and bars overlooking the world class marina.

Day 10: Daintree Rainforest
You are in for a treat today with this memorable Aboriginal cultural experience. Travel to Cooa Beach just north of Port Douglas. This special place is a traditional fishing ground of the kuku Yalanji people. Here you will join one of the Kubimi Warra brothers on their beach, mudflat and mangrove walks as you search for food from the sea. You then visit Mossman Gorge where lunch will be served on the edge of the rain forest. After lunch you get to experience one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful rain forests. Enjoy your walk across boardwalks, tracks and bridges protecting the delicate ecosystem that adorns spectacular waterfalls and mountain ranges.

Day 11: Cruise to the Great Barrier Reef
Today you make your way to the nearby ref terminal where you board a catamaran that will take you out to a floating platform over a coral reef location selected for its water clarity, coral quality and overall diversity of marine like. The platform caters to all skill levels. Snorkel in the sheltered coral lagoon go scuba diving or join a Marine biologist on a guided snorkel safari. Enjoy the reef from a semi –submersible reef viewer, glass bottom boat or underwater observatory. Lunch is included as well as morning and afternoon tea.

Day 12: Return to USA
Today you are transferred to the airport for the return flight to the USA arriving back the same afternoon.
